Safety concerns for Uber and other ride-sharing apps have been in the news recently, especially after the death of Hannah Wilson. Wilson, a sophomore at Indiana University, was slain by a man who claimed to be her Uber driver. Hansom, a peer to peer transportation application, hopes to offer a safer option for college students.

Music and Mission Partner SMU Professor and Low Income High School (11/2014)
SMU Professor Virginia Dupuy saw a need in her community and found a way she could help. She volunteers at David W. Carter High School Choir, providing the low-income school with college-ready musical training. She believes the arts can be an equalizer and won’t allow finances to hold back talent.
